Join Valor for a campout at scenic and cool Senator’s Wash on 06-07 April. We will meet at the Stone Ridge Church parking lot on 06 April at 1400 and return to Stone Ridge Church at 0800 on 07 Apr.

Young men ages 10-22 and Marine mentors are invited to attend. Fathers are welcome and encouraged, and we will have open seats for you or your sons if fathers are unable to attend.

Friday evening, F-35 pilot and father of four, LtCol Thayer Paxton (USMCR) will share with Valor!

(Dinner Saturday evening and a light breakfast Sunday morning will be provided)

We will do some litter clean-up, conduct a mini-triathlon, and enjoy the beautiful and cool water!

Gear list:

At least 1 gallon of water per person PER DAY

Sleeping bag/Pillow (it could be cool... ) / (no tent required, but you can bring one if you want, we have extra tents too)

sleeping pad if you have one

swim wear

Rugged outer wear (including hat/Sunglasses)

1 long-sleeved shirt/ 1 pair of long pants (for life-saving classes), Shorts and T-shirt for daytime/warmer temperature / Closed toed shoes

Work gloves

Sun-block / hat

Flashlight

All purpose paper (TP), Deodorant, Toothbrush

Entrenching tool if you have one

Mountain bike if you have one
