Valor Campout

We plan to gather to camp out and view some aircraft crash sites.

5 W’s and gear list are below. Pass this on to any friends/contacts you think may be interested. If you have questions, please let me know.

Who: Valor (Young men ages 10-22, their fathers, and service members).

What: Campout

When: 1600, 13 Dec 2024 to 1600, 14 Dec 2024. Meet at 1600 to convoy, on 08 Dec south of I-8 exit 42 at the gas station parking lot. If you want to convoy from the Foothills, meet at the Foothills Library at 1520.

Gear List:

At least 1 gallon of water per person

Food will be provided for dinner on Friday, breakfast, and lunch on Saturday. Bring any snacks you want outside these meals.

Sleeping bag (it will be cool... 40 degrees or so)

Tent (if you don’t have one, we have extra space)

Rugged outer wear (full body coverage including hat and gloves)

1 sweatshirt / 1 pair of long pants

Sun-block / hat

Flashlight

All purpose paper (TP)

Entrenching tool

Additional optional items:

Personal Airsoft or paintball gear you already own and as many rounds as you want to shoot.
